An experienced NHS professional has been appointed chief executive of Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare Trust.

Frank Sims is leaving his current role as accountable officer for High Weald Lewes Havens Clinical Commissioning Group to take up the position.

He said: “I am passionate about the impact effective community services can have on patients and therefore the crucial role Hounslow and Richmond Community Trust has to play in delivering significant improvements in health for local people.

“I’m excited to be joining the team and look forward to building on the trust’s strong foundation and ensuring we continue to deliver high quality services to local patients in the future.”

Mr Sims has held a range of director roles in the acute and commissioning sectors, including leading on a number of major service reconfigurations, and has more than 20 years of NHS experience.
