Thirty-three years after leaving Orleans Park Secondary School, ex-pupils are meeting up again. On Saturday January 18th at 3.00pm the group will assemble in the school playground to recreate a photo that was taken just before they left school.
“I know it’s daunting to turn up to an event and not know anyone,” says Rachel Mulligan, from the Class of ‘81. “But we all have a shared experience and everyone I have been in touch with since this started has been incredibly friendly and welcoming.”
Over the last six months and with the help of the Internet, many old friends have become reacquainted. However, the search is still on for the more elusive ex-pupils. They would now be either 48 or 49 and have been at Orleans Park in Twickenham between 1976 and 1981. If you can help find someone please get in touch with Sharon Washington at Orleans Park Secondary School on 020 8891 0187.
Based on information supplied by Rachel Mulligan.
