Fans of Motown will welcome a five-star cast to Richmond Theatre to bring 60s hits back to life in a dazzling show.

Direct from the USA, the Magic of Motown returns featuring an all-new show, packed with 36 back-to-back massive Motown hits.

Show-stopping performances authentically revive the style and sophistication of all the Detroit legends, including the Temptations, Supremes, Four Tops, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Lionel Richie.

Show producer Michael Taylor says: “Five-star performances authentically revive the style and sophistication of all the Detroit legends.

“Sixties classics give way to present-day masterpieces from Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.

“Sadly, many of the original Motown legends are either no longer with us or no longer touring.

“The Magic of Motown is the nearest you’ll get to authentically capturing their incredible musical legacy in a live show.

“Our young cast is able to reflect the exuberance and excitement of these songs as they were originally performed.”

Male lead Andre Lejaune says the cast has rehearsed an all-new arena show to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The Floridian singer says: “With many new numbers added to our already hit-packed show we needed to ensure the choreography was right on point.

“The show is called the Magic of Motown for a reason - it’s our job to ensure theatregoers have a truly magical night to remember.”
