For a wheelie good night out at the flicks this Christmas, look no further than Action Bikes’ pedal-powered extravaganza.

The Whitton bike store holds a Christmas film night at St Philip’s and St James Church for all the family to enjoy.

Powered by up to six cyclists hooked up to generators, film buffs can enjoy Will Ferrell's Elf as well as the classic Miracle on 34th Street.

There will be food and a licensed bar available on site, with profits from the event going to Re~Cycle.

The charity has so far shipped over 49,636 bikes to Africa, transforming people’s lives.

Organiser Tony Yerby says: “People can cycle a long way in an hour but it would take an age to walk the same distance.”

Action Bikes Indoor Cycling Cinema; December 20, Elf at 4pm, Miracle on 34th Street at 7pm; ticket prices £5-£10; visit actionbikes.co.uk/cycling-cinema for further details and ticket information.
