A swing band and a school choir welcomed the mayor of Richmond when she visited a cancer centre.
Councillor Meena Bond joined the choir from the Halliford School when she visited the Mulberry Centre on Wednesday, December 11.
The centre, located within the grounds of West Middlesex Hospital, is open to all those affected by cancer.
Coun Bond said: “I am always moved by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Mulberry Centre and its focus on providing essential physical, emotional, and practical support.
“The staff, volunteers and supporters are clearly committed to helping people who use the centre.”
The centre is developing community-based sessions in Barnes, Whitton and the Hamptons, which is will update detail of on its website themulberrycentre.co.uk.
