Children dressed in Tudor costumes and performed a dance as part of the Museum of Richmond’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

In partnership with the Richmond Society, costumes were donated to the museum in Whittaker Avenue as the children performed a Tudor dance on Saturday, November 30.

The museum’s curator Natascha Wintersinger said: “We will be using those costumes with the schools in the future.

“We are very busy with schools we virtually have one to visit us every day. It was a really successful day and we are really pleased with how it went.

“We were visited by lots of nice people who haven’t previously visited the museum.”

Other festivities on Saturday, November 30, included a raffle and a candle making workshop.

Hidden treasures previously unseen by the public were also put on display.
