Two school children will see their Christmas card design sent out to families in the borough after they won a competition.
Shannon Worrall, 12, and Boguslaw Sekulski, 11, pupils at Richmond Park Academy, were chosen as winners in the Liberal Democrats’ Christmas card competition by judges Robin Meltzer, a parliamentary campaigner, and Susan Kramer.
Mr Meltzer said it was a pleasure to work with the staff and students on the project.
He said: “When I asked Richmond Park Academy Year 7 students if they would like to design me a Christmas card, I had an inkling that we would get something special because the art department is of a high calibre.
“The entire school is decorated with excellent student art work.
“And I wasn’t disappointed.
“ I asked Susan Kramer to help pick the winning entries and it was not easy to choose.”
