Pooches put his best paw forward in Kneller Gardens
Tails wagged as Twickenham’s pooches took part in the annual Kneller Gardens Dog Show, raising money for Friends of the River Crane Environment (Force).
The show was part of Force’s 10th anniversary celebrations on September 15 at Kneller Gardens.
Among the categories canines could contest were agility, dog the judges would most like to take home, junior handlers and dog that looks most like their owner.
Organiser Jane Anthony said it had been great to see so many take part and watch in the wet conditions.
She said: “The forecast was terrible but there must have been about 50 or 60 dogs in attendance for the show.
“There has probably been more in previous years but it’s nice to be able to take the time to see all the dogs properly.
“It was a fantastic day and everybody really enjoyed it.”
The dog show raised more than £200 for the River Crane supporters group.
The open day also included events such as duck racing along the river and a tug-of-war competition.
