Talking to teenagers mission starts in Richmond on Saturday
A man who will travel to 50 cities in the country in 50 weeks to help families deal with teenage issues will hold his first talk in Richmond.
Jack Vennard, who set up Thinking Teenagers, will speak about his project outside Starbuck’s in George Street, Richmond, from 9am on Saturday, August 31, giving his main talk at noon.
Thinking Teenagers is a video resource with real people sharing their experiences on important areas of their life that teenagers are likely to encounter such as sex, drugs and alcohol.
The 32-year-old, who will be in Richmond from 9am, but give a speech at noon, said: “I would like as many people to come along as possible.
“I want to start spreading the word to parents and having a conversation about it.
“I genuinely believe every family in the country should be using something like this.”
