Richmond students on telly for Comic Relief fundraiser

Fundraising children at Christ’s School in Richmond appeared on television this week as part of the BBC’s Comic Relief coverage.
Following the school's Comic Relief fundraising activities, which included dodgeball games and Smarties chopstick challenges, the BBC visit the school and filmed there.
The footage was used as part of a montage on the BBC programme which showcased various fundraising activities around the country.
After the filming, six students were selected to appear on Blue Peter.
English teacher Kate Moran said: “They came to the school because they were impressed with the fundraising activities we had organised.
“It was really good fun. All the children were really pumped up and jumping around and getting really competitive.
"The Comic Relief team were really impressed.”
