Pub grub raises money for Hampton's Chase
Children who tuck in to a pub meal will help support peers not expected to reach their 19th birthday.
Pub company Fullers has pledged to donate 30p from every children’s meal sold to Hampton children’s hospice Shooting Star Chase.
The children’s menu, which is being rolled out at pubs across the country, features healthy option main courses, puddings and drinks and provides information about the charity to raise awareness.
Shooting Star Chase supports families with a child or teenager with a life-limiting illness.
Jeremy Payne, director of fundraising and marketing at Shooting Star Chase, said: “Shooting Star Chaseis delighted to have been chosen to benefit from Fuller’s new children’s menu.
“Most of us cannot really imagine what the families that use our service are going through but what is absolutely clear is that we couldn’t continue to provide that service without this kind of generous support from organisations and ordinary people.”
