Free emergency alarms from Richmond Council
8:00am Sunday 10th February 2013 in News By Amy Dyduch
Vulnerable and older people who want security and peace of mind can get a free emergency alarm.
Richmond Council is offering a free six month trial of telecare systems, which when activated automatically generate an emergency call so people can get help immediately in their home.
The sensors can be worn as a necklace or wristband and with the push of a button will dial the Richmond Careline team via the main phone line.
The council announced £100,000 of funding to provide the trial in November last year. Residents need to apply by March 31.
