Environment Trust for Richmond wants your architectural delights
8:00am Sunday 3rd February 2013 in News By Clare Buchanan
Then and Now, a new volunteer-led initiative by the Environment Trust for Richmond, is calling on people to identify the borough’s many architectural delights.
Case studies of three sites are already under way and the project will be open to nominations following the launch on February 11.
Heather McGrath Alcock, historic buildings co-ordinator for the trust, said: “Richmond is spoilt for diversity and beauty in its built and natural environments. We hope there are many people out there who will want to join us.”
The initiative, backed by Richmond Council, aims to encourage residents to unveil the borough’s historic spots that may have been previously missed.
To celebrate and study Richmond's historic sites and features visit Twickenham library, in Garfield Road, on February 11, between 6.30pm and 8pm.
