A woman is in a critical state after she was crushed under a car yesterday.
The woman, believed to be in her late 20s, was crushed between a wall and the car, before it pushed her down a ditch and landed on top of her.
The car came off the road at the junction of Uxbridge Road and Arundel Close in Hampton Hill just before 1.50am on November 11.
Bystanders tried to comfort the woman before emergency services arrived, as she lay under the car with a crushed torso.
Watch manager at Twickenham Noel Hanson said: “I would like to commend some members of the public, who before we arrived were helping to stabilise and comfort her.
“I would also like to commend the fire crews for their actions.”
The car was removed within about 20 minutes using a special rescues unit from Heston to winch the car off.
