Jessie J has said she wants to change her image, because she felt that with her dramatic style she looked "like a transvestite".

The Do It Like A Dude singer told Grazia magazine she wants to mature her look and move away from the extreme image she had when she launched her career.

Jessie, 24, said: "I started to look like a cartoon character with the fringe and the catsuits. I ended up looking like a transvestite.

"I want to change my hair, change my style. I want to be allowed to grow."

And The Voice coach also dismissed rumours of her diva behaviour.

Jessie said: "I did ask for a scented candle - is there anything wrong with asking for what you know is good for you? Does that make you a diva?"
