It was a hard day’s night for the musicians who agreed to perform the entire Beatles’ back catalogue in a marathon charity gig last weekend.
50 people took to the stage at Streatham’s White Lion pub to raise money for Music 4 Children, a charity which seeks to improve the lives of underprivileged and orphaned children.
Bands, duos and solo singers played for 11 hours straight on Saturday, and four hours on Friday, performing all of the Fab Four’s 186 songs to hundreds of people.
Charity chairman Clarry McDonald said future gigs could include Rolling Stones hits or songs from James Bond films.
He said: "All the performers went out of their way to perform the songs. It was an effort for everyone. It was great."
