Since the 1980's the Pop music culture spawned an enormous amount of memorable music, go to any club venue in the UK or around the world and you are guaranteed a shot of some 1980's flashback...

Jon Adam Freeman has recorded a cover of Bananarama's classic 1984 track 'Robert De Niro's Waiting' the track is set to be released on 17th September 2007.

Producer Joopiter says that this is Jon's best work to date. We wanted to create a track that reflected the 80's Pop period, and Bananarama were, and indeed are! the most successful female pop group of all time. Jon chose the track as it is a particular favourite of his, his unique vocal has given this track such a buzz, and the up to date style of the track will have fans old and new jumping for joy!

Jon says ' Bananarama have always been a firm favourite of mine, not only are they terrific show people, but excellent and head strong and have stood the test of time longer than any other girl group in the world. That has to count for something. I wanted to do a cover of a 1980's track, but couldn't pin point one. A lot of friends assumed I would cover a Jason Donovan track, but that would have been too obvious! so I took a track that challenged me, and boy has it been a challenge!'

Bananarama are celebrating 25 years in the music industry in 2007, and Jon's cover is a fitting tribute.
