ANTON Robinson grabbed a dramatic late winner as the tide finally turned for Cherries at Victoria Road.
Lee Bradbury’s men – the victims of numerous late goals this season – were for once the beneficiaries as Robinson struck two minutes from time.
The 25-year-old netted following a goalmouth scramble to help Cherries maintain second place in League One.
Earlier, Jon Nurse had drawn first blood for the Daggers when he opened the scoring with a stooping far-post header three minutes into the second half.
But substitute Ings made an instant impact when he levelled with a towering header just seconds after he had come off the bench to replace Joe Partington. Following a cagey start, Danny Green’s well-struck free-kick was pushed away by Shwan Jalal before Jason Pearce beat Baz Savage to the loose ball and cleared the danger.
Liam Feeney was presented with a glorious chance to open the scoring after Daggers defender Damien McCrory had failed to deal with Jalal’s huge clearance.
But, with only Tony Roberts to beat, Feeney was thwarted when the veteran goalkeeper advanced off his line and spread himself to deny the Cherries winger.
Roberts also parried Feeney’s follow-up effort before the resultant corner was cleared to safety by the Daggers defence.
Rhoys Wiggins blazed a first-time shot over the crossbar before Danny Hollands headed Marc Pugh’s corner narrowly wide.
As the rain continued to pour, Savage poked a half-chance wide before the Daggers fashioned their clearest chance after 34 minutes.
Leading goalscorer Romain Vincelot arrived at the near post to meet Green’s corner, only for Pearce to acrobatically hook his header off the line.
Cherries quickly responded when Roberts was forced to save from point-blank range after Hollands had met a Wiggins free-kick with a firm header.
And as the first half drew to a close, Pearce’s perfectly-timed tackle on Nurse prevented the striker from going clear on goal.
However, Nurse opened the scoring for the Daggers when he sneaked in at the far post to head home Green’s free-kick three minutes into the second half.
Bradbury responded by sacrificing midfielder Partington for Ings, although Cherries were thankful to Jalal for saving at his near post from Peter Gain soon after.
Ings headed home from an Adam Smith cross just seconds after coming off the bench, only to see his effort ruled out for offside.
But the 18-year-old restored parity when he climbed above the Daggers defence to nod Pugh’s precision centre past Roberts after 56 minutes.
Nurse’s header flashed past the post after 67 minutes before Robinson popped up to fire Cherries ahead two minutes from time.
The midfielder pounced on the loose ball following a goalmouth scramble and found the bottom corner with a crisp, left-foot shot.

er noBMWdellboy, 2 wins and a draw will do it. They tell everyone that saints fans are arrogant, but the situation they find themselves in is that they've played 3 games more than Saints or Brighton.
Saints might have stumbled once but gloating at being 2nd in the league when you have played so many more games than the rest is idiotic. The sour grapes have to play saints at Dean court yet and it would be more sensible of them to gloat once Brighton and Saints had played those 3 games in hand, but of course saints are the ones who are arrogant.
Chickens before they hatch springs to mind, or just sheer arrogance.

Why can't true football fans respect each other's clubs and see that the supporter of the rival club is also a true football supporter.
Why do fans from other teams feel the need to come onto this website and show disrespect ???
And they say they're not worried about us.
Always welcome fans who can leave a reasoned and logical post.
I wish all the South Coast teams well but I wouldn't be honest if I didn't wish the best to my team.
