Kingston Choral Society Concert, Kingston Parish Church As everyone tightens their purse strings it was heartening to see an almost full Kingston Parish Church as Kingston Choral Society continued in their 60th anniversary year with a concert of Fauré Requiem, Elgar Serenade for Strings and Haydn Nelson Mass. This, their second concert under their new Music Director, Graham Ross, showed what a difference this young and dynamic conductor has already made to this choral society as they gave some of the best singing that I have heard from them in many years.

Anthony Hewitt, the Dysart Arms Last Sunday evening at The Dysart Arms’ monthly classical concert, there were gasps of astonishment , loud cheers, resounding "bravos" and tears of joy.

Kingston Choral Society Concert, Kingston Parish Church Kingston Choral Society continued its tradition of inventive programming under its new conductor Graham Ross with a selection of works by Britten, Howells and Tippett. Saturday’s concert at Kingston Parish Church was well attended and the audience was not disappointed.

Thames Philharmonic Choir Spring Concert, All Saints Church, Kingston On the evening of February 28, All Saints’ Church, Kingston, was the venue for a delightful concert given by Thames Philharmonic Choir and Thames Festival Orchestra, directed as always by John Bate, their first of 2009.
