Looking for love?

A Carshalton author has penned a novel about looking for love on a dating site partly based on experiences from her own life.

In Mariama Alawiye's new novel Single Rarities, a 39-year-old woman who has been in a relationship for 13 years suddenly becomes single.

On her quest to find romance the woman, called Passion, joins a dating site.

However, nothing could prepare her for the men she was about to come into contact with.

Single Rarities reveals Passion’s personal diary chronicling all her dating experiences.

Alawiye said some of her character's experiences are based on her own life.

Passion’s journey is described as one of excitement, laughter, disappointment, happiness and shock.

Alawiye has published the book electronically and it is available at amazon.co.uk.
