The Rock & Roll Recruits – February Half term Camp at The PowerStation Youth Centre, Mortlake, from 11.30am to 3.45pm on February 16 to 18.

London Puddle Jumping Championships, WWT London Wetland Centre, Barnes, from February 13 to 21.

Children of all ages are welcome to bring their wellies and go to the London Wetland Centre. Throughout half-term there will be puddle jumping competitions at 2.30pm with daily prizes, and a champion chosen at the end of the week, and practice jump sites before each competition. Second World War Family Workshops, Museum of Richmond, from 10am to noon from February 16 to 19.

Bring your family to learn together about what life was like for children in Richmond during the war, and for children who were evacuees. Children even have the chance to pack their own evacuee suitcase. Ages 5 to 11, costs £4 per child and adults are free. Go to museumofrichmond.com for more.

Wild Learning at Sheen Common from 10.15am to 4pm on February 16 and 17.

With Wild Learning holiday club children can have great adventures in the woods, while safely supervised. If you feel like getting in touch with nature, take your family to Bushy Park where all kind of wildlife, including Fallow Deer, can be found. Children have the opportunity to paint their own gnome to keep. Three fantastic events are available at Kingston Library this half-term for kids. On Tuesday children 7 and up can do the First World War Heritage Workshop teaching the art styles of famous WW1 artists, costs £2 in advance. On Thursday children 4 and up is the Alice in Wonderland Craft Session giving kids the great opportunity to make thematic puppets and masks, costs £2 in advance. On Saturday children 12+ can try out the advanced technology of 3D printing to bring their ideas into reality (Limited places, tickets £5 in advance).
