Another round of comedic talent fills the Bedford for day two of the Balham Comedy Festival.

Well known for his roles in Father Ted and My Hero Ardal O'Hanlon makes a welcome return to the festival to perform his highly-acclaimed stand up.

O'Hanlon has toured to sell out audiences internationally and has his own US Comedy Central show. His shows consist of thoughtful, silly, sharp and punchy discussions of topics that are bound to tickle audiences.

Robert Newman follows the Irish comic, with his Brain Show which follows a sell out at last year's festival.

After volunteering for a brain-imaging experiment meant to locate the part of the brain that lights up when you are in love, Mr Newman came out with more questions than answers.

This show asks can brain scans read our minds, are we our brains and how can you map the mind? It even includes a specially constructed MRI-hat which will record Mr Newman's real-time brain activity in the show.

The third part of the second day of comedy will be taken from the Best of Banana. This slot will see Rob Rouse, Noel James and Dana Alexander take to the stage, hosted by John Moloney.
