Terriers are set to follow in the footsteps of Derby winners by racing at the iconic racecourse.
The Omni Terrier Derby promises "mayhem" and laughs at Epsom Downs Racecourse on Sunday, August 24.
Organiser Bob Pain says his dog, Smudge, immediately took to racing and his obsession inspired the founding of the terrier derby 12 years ago.

Mr Pain said: "He sadly passed away late last year but was racing right up to the end. The winning trophy will now be the Smudge Cup in his memory."
He says some of the dogs go completely the wrong way but other dogs are pros and race with style. He adds: "It’s a huge laugh. It’s a heck of a lot of fun."
Other attractions on the day include a competition for the "best turned out" dog.
