This summer Brighton-based illustrator and print maker Beatrice Von Preussen is running art and craft workshops at the Battersea Park Children’s Zoo.
These sessions allow children to think about animals in a way that they might not normally do.
The butterfly day drop-in sessions take place on Thursday, July 24, and Bugs Day on Tuesday, July 29, both 11am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Cost £1.
She also running an animal T-shirt printing workshop on Tuesday, August 5. These are four workshops at 11am, noon, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
There is a maximum number of 16 per session, and people can sign up on the day. The session costs £2.50, including materials.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy animal feeding time and feed making sessions, story time, mask making, puppet making, face painting and badge making over the summer holidays.
