As the Easter holidays fast approach, Shout! is on hand to help keep youngsters busy with a range of activities.

From week-long schemes to shorter activity-based sessions, there is something for children of all ages and for those who would rather have a quiet time or who want to get out in the open.

The week-long activity schemes, which run both weeks of the school break, provide varied play opportunities with at least two activities to choose from at any time.

The Ready, Set, Shout! course, which runs twice during the holidays at the Xcel Leisure Centre, is the ideal scheme for active and sporty children, with a selection of sports sessions on offer.

For those who would rather spend a few hours with a racket in hand and out on the court, shorter tennis sessions are available for children aged five to eight at Churchfields Recreation Ground, Weybridge, every morning of the holidays.

Other day-long activities include Easter themed arts and crafts, cooking, dancing, circus skills, drama, quad biking and paintballing.

A teddy bears picnic for children of all ages will also take place at Claygate Recreation Ground in the second week of the holidays, culminating two weeks for fun for children across the borough.
