The Crystal Palace Overground Festival is set to return to Crystal Palace this summer for its eighth year.

Festivalgoers can look forward to a feast of performing arts, crafts, holistic and sports activities, live music, DJs and food stalls, plus antique, craft and vintage shopping throughout the Crystal Palace Triangle area.

The four-day event starts with fringe activities on June 26 and 27 around the town in anticipation of the main big festival weekend.

Westow Park will be the main festival hub on June 28 and 29 focusing around the Upper Norwood Triangle.

Last year 155 performers and artists took part and 60 events were held throughout the region which was a new record for traders and venues getting involved in the festival.

The Crystal Palace Overground Festival is a free event that relies on volunteers, sponsorship, fundraising and the support of the local community.

It is run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers and is sponsored by local businesses.

It was launched in 2007 by the Upper Norwood Triangle Traders.
