Budding actors from a youth group are preparing to perform a hip hop dance extravaganza this winter.

Richmond Housing Partnership’s (RHP) Urban Academy gives young people aged 7-21 the chance to get involved in free sports, arts and musical activities across the borough.

This year members of the academy have been working hard on their dancing, singing and acting skills in weekly sessions for a performance of South West Side Story.

RHP’s community engagement manager, Shola O’Grady, says: "It’s fantastic to see our young people flourish doing something that they love, and our annual end of year performance is not to be missed."
