A popular Irish pub in the centre of Blackheath has opened its doors after completing an extensive refurbishment.

O’Neill's in Blackheath re-opened on November 27, ready to return as a venue for sports and live music.

The refurbished pub includes a new menu with stone-baked pizzas alongside the usual collection of beers and ciders.

Jamie Madeley, manager of the pub, said; “It’s been fantastic seeing the pub come together over the last couple of weeks.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and see our guest’s reactions over the coming days. There have been some big changes and we’re confident they’ll go down well the people of Blackheath.

“Being ideally located, just minutes from Blackheath train station, our pub is the perfect spot to get together with friends, family or colleagues to relax and unwind over good food amongst a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

“Along with the improved menu we have a fantastic selection of drinks, including our new range of craft beers and ciders. Plus, we’ve always been known for live sport and our brand-new HD Video Wall will really provide a wow factor when watching the big game.”
