A new exhibition opens at Hampton Court next week, with artists Nicky Brown and Nataliya Zozulya launching Hampton Court and More at the Fountain Gallery.
Both artists have been drawing furiously at Hampton Court Palace’s Chapel Royal and this exhibition features a broad range of figurative work inspired by the scenery of the palace and gardens.
As the weather has improved, the creative duo decided to move to the palace gardens where they have produced their latest ensemble.
Nicky Brown has produced a range of sketches and prints while painter Nataliya Zozulya has focused on landscapes and a number of portraits. She will host portrait classes during the course of the exhibition.
Nicky Brown says: “We spent the last four months drawing the the Chapel Royal ceiling and its blooming difficult as it’s a wooden ceiling.
“It’s a little bit quirky.”
The artists say their next focus will be on the palace chimneys.
