Croydon College students are working with the council and Ministry of Defence to raise awareness of hate crimes.

As part of their UNICEF Pledge Award, the Performing Arts and Access to Higher Education students are working alongside Carl Parker from the Safer Croydon Partnership Unit by sharing their experiences.

These personal experiences will be used as a stimuli to produce a play which will be preformed by the Performing Arts students in the Whitgift Centre.

On May 24, Mayor of Croydon Eddy Arram presented the students with certificates in recognition of their contribution towards raising hate crime awareness in the borough.
