MP for Twickenham Vince Cable visited Teddington Memorial Hospital on August 22 and expressed great satisfaction that the hospital is flourishing following several threats to its future in the past few decades.
Issues the hospital faces include the difficulty of recruiting nurses and the growing need for care for elderly and frail patients.
