Twickenham band The Carnabys have released their debut single this week, as the four-piece plan an album for autumn.

The band's rock anthem, The Pocket, has been released off the back of their triumph in the global Hard Rock Rising contest, which saw them support Bruce Springsteen and embark on a world tour.

Band members Ben Gittins, Jack Mercer, James Morgan and Mike Delizo, who fought off competition from 12,000 other bands, will play a series of UK and European dates this summer.

Their live shows include a set at the Strawberry Hill Festival in Twickenham on July 20.

The single is available on iTunes, Spotify and via thecarnabys.com.
