Former England cricketer Angus Fraser put a Twickenham school’s head boys through their paces at the opening of a new sports hall.
Twelve-year-old Thomas Latham and Jamie Miller, 13, faced a few overs from the ex-Middlesex bowler at the Mall School’s new building.
The hall replaces the previous building which was demolished at last year and has already been used by the boys since the beginning of the new term.
New facilities include two cricket nets, basketball hoops and a height adjustable net which runs the length of the hall.
Headmaster David Price said: “The new sports hall is an excellent additional facility for the school and will enable us to increase both the sports provision for our pupils and the range of extra-curricular activities which we can offer.”
